MASA is now accepting proposals for Hot Topic Academy workshops for 2012-13. Complete the form below and an MASA staff member will contact you to arrange details.

What: Series of one-day drive-in professional development events addressing hot topicsfor newer superintendents and mentors. Each day in a 3-location series willfeature:

• Two 1.5-hour morning workshops
• Facilitated networking lunch
• One 2-hour afternoon workshop

Who:

• Audience — superintendents in their first through third years (MASA On-callcolleagues will also be invited if space allows)
• Presenters—MASA member affiliates and sponsors are eligible to presentone academy workshop per series on a practical topic relevant to newersuperintendents
• Luncheon facilitators — MASA Executive Coaches.

Where: Each Academy series will be offered at three regional venues—Washtenaw ISD; Kent ISD; COP ESD (Indian River)

When: 3 Academy series are scheduled for 2012-13

• Late summer: Dates TBD
• Late fall: Dates TBD
• Early Spring: Dates TBD

Cost for Presenters: $400-$1,200, depending on presenter’s MASA membership/sponsorship level.
