It's all about iPads and Video
We here at MASA hope that you and your families enjoyed the holidays. I’m sure many of you received accessories for your still somewhat new iPad 2s. We hope that they both entertain and inspire you to find unique uses for the classroom and administrative offices.
We look forward to seeing you all at the Midwinter conference beginning on February 1st at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center. In addition to the scheduled activities (which you can access here: http://gomasa.org/sites/default/files/Midwinter-Agenda-Draft.pdf), we will be doing something special. As part of the RDI Mobile Technology Project, we will be interviewing any administrators willing to be videotaped while speaking on the subject of their iPad 2. The videos will be taken and edited to create visual collage of the participants’ collective experience.
Monthly Exercise
For your lesson this month, try playing the first instructional video created by Atomic Learning. The tutorial is 30 minutes long and gives instructions on using the iPad 2 as well as providing instruction on using Atomic Learning.
The video can be accessed here: https://atomiclearning.adobeconnect.com/_a1013175354/p3xtybdyvux/?launcher=false&fcsContent=true&pbMode=normal

Next month we will be returning to our regular format regarding instruction. Atomic Learning will be introducing more videos as time rolls on. You will be able to access these videos on Atomic Learning’s web site.
We look forward to seeing you at the conference in February!
